Contents are clean and tight. Probably the best known personalities in the history of the Scottish Criminal Courts, and the story of the deeds of these villainous body snatchers and their close connection with Dr Knox of Edinburgh University have been spread throughout the world. Few, however have read for themselves the actual trials whixh resulted from the West Port murders.The trial of William Burke and Helen McDougal was reproduced in the original edition published in 1921 but now for the first time the trial of Hare for the murder of Daft Jamie has been included in a general edition.
